Senami Hot Spring

Facing the Sea of Japan, the Senami Hot Spring is famous for its beautiful pine forest and the breathtaking view of the sun setting over the Sea of Japan.
In the 37th year of the Meiji era (1904), hot water began gushing out from the earth while drilling for oil. Indeed, this hot spring boasts its abundant water volume and the high temperature of its water (approximately 95℃).
Because the Miomote River where fresh-run salmon can be found in autumn flows through the city, you can savor delicious local salmon dishes at any inn in the area.
It is also a place that has many other attractive features such as the tall hot spring tower and Murakami City's castle town atmosphere.
