The Hakone Open-Air Museum exhibits its many sculptures outdoors.
In the vast sculpture garden (70,000 square meters) surrounded by beautiful nature, many works of famous artists such as Henry Moore and Rodin are displayed. Here, you can enjoy viewing such masterpieces as if having a fun picnic.
In the indoor exhibition venue are great works of Brancusi and Renoir while in the Picasso Pavilion are approximately 300 pieces of mainly rare ceramics made by this artist.
Additionally, you can dip your feet in the flowing foot bath that has been made by utilizing the hot spring gushing out from the land. Indeed, this is a museum that lets everyone of all ages and background enjoy art, nature, and hot spring all together at once.
