The Yufuin Hot Spring is located in the central part of Oita Prefecture. It is a hot spring that boasts its abundant water volume blessed by Mt. Yufu.
The water here is clear and colorless and feels smooth. Because the hot spring water can be drawn extensively, it is even used at the homes of the local residents.
Mt. Yufu can be seen from the open-air baths and rooms at the inns and the view of Lake Kinrin wrapped in the morning mist during the autumn and early winter seasons is indeed a sight to behold. Additionally, you will find many stylish stores selling a variety of small articles and restaurants lined along the avenue called Yunotsubo Kaido.
