Bay cruises are not the only way to see a romantic view of Tokyo, however. Excel Air provides customers with a more adventurous way to see Tokyo and Yokohama, through helicopter cruises. Each ‘cruise’ is around 15 to 20 minutes in length and departs from Urayasu and Yokohama Heliports. Depending on which cruise you choose expect to pay anywhere from ¥10,000 to ¥20,000 per person.

There are a number of date options available in the Tokyo area that are just as romantic but manage to consider budget limits. A nice, romantic stroll to look at illuminations around the city is a great way to spend quality time with your significant other and although most illuminations begin in November some remain in place until February 14th – including the Marunouchi Nakadori Illuminations, Tokyo Dome and Shinjuku Terrace City, all of which are very enchanting especially when sharing the beauty with fingers intertwining your own. One of the finest illuminations displays in Japan is on Enoshima island, which is accessible via the Odakyu line. This beautiful exhibit is named Valentine Island Enoshima and is only held for one week: from February 7th until the 14th.
